California Musical Theatre, a nonprofit professional theatre organization, seeks an experienced, motivated individual for seasonal employment as facilities assistant. The position entails supporting and assisting the operations manager in overseeing, managing and improving safe day-to-day operation of the Music Circus facility. Job functions include routinely inspecting the facility to determine maintenance needs, facilitating general upkeep, performing minor repairs, calling vendors to schedule repairs when necessary and providing support to all departments. This position requires working some evenings and weekends. Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be proactive, have a keen eye for detail, possess strong time management and customer service skills, be able to work well as a part of a team and be able to lift at least 30 lbs. The ideal candidate will have work experience as a handyman plus basic computer skills.
