California Musical Theatre Academy is dedicated to providing high quality performing arts classes for children, internships for technical theatre students and musical theatre workshops for aficionados of all ages. As the educational cornerstone of California Musical Theatre, the Academy trains and nurtures aspiring artists who want to further their career goals and those who seek the arts as inspiration. All education programs are taught by musical theatre professionals, performance-trained teaching artists and visiting artists from the Broadway Sacramento tours, Music Circus and the Cosmopolitan Cabaret. The Academy also provides excellent opportunities for schools and community organizations to attend all three venues, continuing to educate and develop the diverse and new audiences of the future. California Musical Theatre has nearly 3,000 members whose contributions support our education programs.
