California Musical Theatre's education programs include internship programs (providing professional training for aspiring students), ArtsAlive! (exposing underserved populations to live theatre) and theatre training programs for both students and their teachers. The Theatre has more than 2,400 members whose contributions support the education programs.

Reaching new and diverse audiences, sharing resources with youth, as well as underserved segments of the community, and educating our future artists are all essential to fulfilling our mission. Through comprehensive educational programming, the Theatre nurtures the growth of young people interested in theatre, develops school partnerships and teacher development activities, and professional theatre arts training.
