    California Musical Theatre Foundation

Leave a Lasting Legacy through Planned Giving

Can you imagine a summer without Music Circus or an evening out enjoying a Broadway touring production at the Community Center?

California Musical Theatre has been a part of the community for over 50 years.  Children who enjoyed the “old tent” now bring their children and grandchildren to the Wells Fargo Pavilion - - passing on this magical experience.

You can help future generations of regional families also experience live musical theater through a planned gift in your estate.

In 2001, California Musical Theatre marked their 50th anniversary with the establishment of the California Musical Theatre Foundation.  A planned gift to the Foundation can provide you or your estate with meaningful tax savings while fulfilling your desire to support your commitment to preserving musical theatre in our community.

There are many ways you can make a planned gift:

    • Bequests – leave a particular sum or percentage of your estate in your will or living trust.  Appreciated assets (stocks, bonds, real estate and vehicles) may also be included.
    • Life Insurance or Retirement Plans – you can name California Musical Theatre Foundation as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or a retirement plan. You may realize significant tax savings.

    • Trusts – name California Musical Theatre Foundation in a charitable remainder trust. You may realize tax benefits to your estate through this option.

If musical theatre has been a part of your family’s lives, you can help continue to the tradition for generations to come.  Help us build an endowment to ensure the future of Music Circus, Broadway Sacramento and The Cosmopolitan Cabaret as strong, vibrant leaders in the cultural life of the greater Sacramento region.

Supporters who include the Foundation in their estate plans become members of the Producer’s Circle.
